AUDIENCE RESEARCH + ENGAGEMENT

Making use of research to facilitate the inception and growth of relationships with museums’ current and new audiences

We set you up for success in building relationships with your audiences

We cannot build relationships with audiences for you, but we can give you the information and tools you need to begin that process from a place of understanding and empathy.

Discovering the motivations, values, and lived experiences of your current or desired audiences

We use a range of methodologies—custom surveys, diary studies, focus groups and more—to help you get to know what drives people.

UNDERSTANDING AUDIENCE

Whether you are starting from scratch or building on a strong foundation, we will create a research plan that helps bridge the gap between what you already know about your audience and what you need to know to better meet their needs.

BUILDING EMPATHY

We facilitate honest conversations that help you connect authentically with your audience.  We believe opening the lines of communication between you and your audience builds deeper understanding and leads to empathetic decision-making.

CONTINUING RELATIONSHIPS

Audience research has the most impact when it’s done regularly, so we work to understand your goals and constraints and come up with a realistic plan for you to continue getting to know your audience over time.

As we began a rebranding campaign, we wanted to start by getting a deeper understanding of our current and potential visitors. It was great working with the team at Kera Collective throughout this process as we benefited from their expertise and straightforward approach. They enabled us to gather crucial data using onsite surveying and focus groups, and we are using their findings to inform our branding efforts going forward.
